In 2013, I did a two-week internship at Isabelle Laurier. What I remember most is that even back then, the family feeling was very important and strongly present. Since then, I have returned often for student work and in 2019, I started my permanent job here as Office Manager. Working at Isabelle Laurier is equal to being immediately part of the "Isabelle Laurier family" ;). Because we are a small team, you can learn on many levels. Over time you learn a lot about yourself and where your own interests lie and you get the possibility to grow in it. Jan and Pieter are very supportive and will guide you!

I completed a 5.5-month internship at Isabelle Laurier and was their first international intern. As a French student, I felt welcome in the team from day one, they were just as curious about me as I was about them. During my internship, I had a very diverse range of tasks, with a strong focus on sales and customer relations. I contacted clients and actively worked on prospection. Every day, I learned more about sales, communication, and how to build professional relationships. A highlight was travelling to trade fairs in Italy and France, where I learned about international business and teamwork. Thanks to the small, close team, I was given a lot of responsibility and room to take initiative. For students looking for a hands-on, educational internship in an international environment, I can definitely recommend Isabelle Laurier.

Isabelle Laurier is a very well organized trainee post where you gain a lot of knowledge about the logistics within a company. I learned how goods are received, sent and stored at the warehouse. Also the safety in the warehouse has an important role and that everything is done in the right way. The employees are very friendly and helpful and have a lot of respect for (new) interns. There is a great atmosphere with a lot of laughter!

It was a unique opportunity to do my internship as an SME management student at Isabelle Laurier. With Pieter, my mentor and business owner, I was able to follow every step of the process. Being a small family business, I had the opportunity to learn about all the aspects that a small business has to offer. The internship gave me an even bigger motivation to start something myself one day.
